Start/Resume

Possible Solutions

Was the door shut within 3 seconds of pressing Start/Resume?

If the dishwasher door was not closed within 3 seconds of pressing Start/Resume, the light will flash. Open the door, press Start/Resume again and then close the door with 3 seconds.

Was a delay wash cycle selected?

If a delay wash cycle was selected and the door is unlatched, the Start/Resume indicator light will flash. The delay wash countdown will not continue if the door is not latched properly. Properly latch the door and press START/RESUME to continue the delay wash countdown.

Was the cycle interrupted?

The Start/Resume light may flash if the cycle or start-up was interrupted. Possible causes of this include the door being opened during the cycle or the power was interrupted.

To resume operation, make sure the door is closed and press START/RESUME.

Cycle power to the control to reset the dishwasher:

Much like a computer, resetting the dishwasher control can sometimes solve the issues you are experiencing. To reset the dishwasher control panel, it needs to be disconnected from the power source for one minute. If your dishwasher is plugged into an outlet, simply unplug the unit for one minute and then plug the unit back in. If the dishwasher is hard wired to the power supply, turn the breaker off at the home electrical panel that powers the dishwasher for one minute and then turn the breaker back on.
