If the door locked when starting the oven:
Press Cancel/Off key to start a latch reset, wait 20-30 seconds and open door, or turn the power off at the circuit breaker or fuse box for one minute, then turn the power back on.
If the oven has a manual latch handle:
Allow the oven to cool, approximately 30-90 minutes, move the latch arm to the left to unlock the door.
If the latch arm will not move after cooling to room temperature, or is stuck in between full right and full left positions, schedule service.
Is the oven door locked due to power failure during Self-Clean?
If power was interrupted during a Self-Clean cycle, select the "Self Clean" option, then select "Cancel". Wait a couple of minutes then try to start the cycle again.
If the oven clean cycle was started mistakenly:
Press Cancel/Off key. The oven will need to cool to approximately 200F(95C) before the oven door will open.
Do you have an error message or code?
Follow directions in the display, refer to the Error Code Symptom, or:
Reset power to the product:
Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) or fuse(s) for one (1) minute.
Power unit up by turning on the circuit breaker(s) or fuse(s).
Monitor the oven for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again.
Verify oven operation.
