How to Clean a Drip Bowl

How to Clean the Drip Bowls on your Jenn-Air Range

Before cleaning, make sure all controls are off and the cooktop is cool. Always follow label instructions on cleaning products. Food spills containing acids, such as vinegar and tomato, should be cleaned as soon as the entire appliance is cool, these spills may affect the finish. Coil elements are self-cleaning; do not immerse them in water.

Before cleaning the drip bowls the elements will need to be removed.  For instructions on removing the element click here.

  2. Soak for 20 minutes, then scrub with stainless steel-wool pad and if needed use a mildly abrasive cleanser and scrub with a wet scouring pad
