Is the Microwave in Stand by Mode?
When the microwave drawer is in use, the display shows cooking power, quantities, weights, and/or prompts. When it is not in use, the display shows the time of day. After about 3 minutes of no interaction with the microwave, it will go into Stand by Mode, which will dim the display.
