Has all packaging and shipping material been removed?
Ensure all protective material from Turntable and hub has been removed. Check to make sure the tape was also removed from the hub.
Is the Turntable properly installed?
A thumping or rumbling sound may occur in the microwave oven if the turntable is not installed correctly or if the support roller assembly is not operating properly. The turntable can rotate in either direction to help cook food more evenly. Do not operate the microwave oven without having the turntable in place.

Is the Turntable function turned off?
The Turntable may be turned off (on some models) for manual cooking only. This is helpful when cooking with plates that are bigger than the turntable, or when cooking with plates that are side by side. Please reference your Owner's Manual for instruction specific to your model number.
