Using the Bridge or Griddle Elements - Glass Cooktop

Possible Solutions

The bridge or griddle area of the cooktop allows you to create an oblong heated area that can be used with large or oblong cookware. The bridge element allows flexibility in the cooking area.  Refer to your Owner's Manual, Control Guide, or Quick Start Guide for specific information on your model.

Examples of the different configurations

The bridge area is the area between the two burners.  To use this configuration, Push in the knob from the Off position and turn to anywhere in the "Bridge" zone (Low - High).  NOTE: This is the opposite direction from turning on the single burner.
