Blinking Amber Light - Commercial Range
Possible Solution
What to do if the range is blinking amber lights?
If your range is blinking amber-colored lights followed by a tone this is an indication of an error. After the error code is determined, go to the error code section of this troubleshooting guide.
How to clear control:
- Move the "Temp" knob to any position then move the "Temp" knob again to the "Off" position
- If the error code was temporary, the range will no longer flash amber lights and Oven will operate as normal.
- If the error code is still present, cycle power to the range, by disconnecting power for 1 minute
- If the error remains service will be needed to further diagnose.
If your commercial-style range is connected and registered in the Branded mobile app you can use it to determine why the range is blinking. If you would like to connect your appliance see the "Connected Appliance" section of this troubleshooter for additional information.
Did you change the temperature of the oven?
If the temperature was lowered during an oven cycle the oven will blink amber while the new temperature is reached. This is part of a normal operation.
