Meat Probe Not Working - Commercial-Style Range

Is the Range connected to the mobile app and WiFi?

The range must be connected to your local WiFi and registered on the mobile app to use the temperature probe.

Verify meat probe is fully inserted in temperature probe jack

Insert Temperature Probe into food. The probe should be inserted into the center of the fleshy or thickest part of the food. If cooking meats with a bone, avoid inserting the probe too close to the bone, as it might result in unfavorable cooking results.

Ensure the temperature probe is fully seated into the jack, the range will make a tone when the probe is inserted. If you do not hear a tone the temperature probe is not pushed in all the way. 

How are you starting the cooking cycle? 

The cooking cycle must be started from the mobile app.  Starting the oven manually, directly on the oven, will not display the meat temperature or provide notifications.  Also, a temperature probe/meat probe cycle must be selected on the app.  The cycle name will vary depending on the model i.e Probe 

Reset power to the product:

  • Power Oven down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) for one (1) minute.
  • Power Oven up by turning on the circuit breaker(s).
  • Monitor the oven for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again.
  • Verify oven operation.
