Condensation on Interior - Dishwasher
Possible Solution
Do you see moisture on the tub wall or door?
Condensation on the interior of the dishwasher walls is part of the normal drying process. The humid air inside of the dishwasher will condense on the cooler interior surfaces, keeping the dishes dry. Continual use of rinse aid will also aid in the sheeting of water and condensation.
Was rinse aid used?
The use of rinse aid is very important. Using a rinse aid will optimize your drying and wash performance. Your dishwasher is specifically designed to use liquid rinse aid for improved drying performance and controlling the buildup of hard water deposits.
What cycle was selected?
If condensation remains on the interior walls after the cycle has been completed, check if a dry option was selected.
Most dishwashers will have the following dry options - air dry (no indicator light displayed or specific option), Heat or Pro Dry option for smaller loads, or Extended Dry option for large loads. The default option will be the Heat or Pro Dry option, which should provide good results. If the Heat or Pro Dry option did not dry the load as you desired, select the Extended Dry option.
Some dishwashers have an "Open Dry" function that enables the door to automatically open after the cycle to vent out moisture/Humid Air and accelerate drying. Refer to your Owner's Manual for specific features for your model.
