Steps to Clean the Condenser:
Tools: soft-bristle coil brush, refrigerator coil brush, or vacuum with crevice or brush attachment.
Safety: Unplug the refrigerator or switch off the circuit breaker before cleaning. Do not disturb water lines for ice or water dispensers. Wear safety glasses, avoid bending fins or tubing, and secure any panels or grilles before restoring power.
- Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect the power.
- Remove the base grille at the bottom of the refrigerator. Do this by opening both doors, placing your hands along the ends of the grille, and pushing in on the top of the grille while pulling up on the bottom.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush to clean the grille, the open areas behind the grille, and the front surface area to be cleaned. A specific Refrigerator Coil Brush can also be used. We recommend using the JennAir Maintenance Brush part number 4210463RW.
- Replace the base grille. Line up the grille support tabs with the metal clips and push the grille firmly to snap it into place.
- Plug in the refrigerator or reconnect power.
