Outside Cabinet Feels Warm

Possible Solution

Is the Condenser Dirty?

A dirty or clogged condenser can cause the following issues:

  • Obstructs proper airflow
  • Reduces ice-making capacity to little or no ice production
  • Causes higher-than-recommended operating temperatures, which may lead to component failure

The ice-making system and the air-cooled condenser must be cleaned regularly for the ice maker to operate at peak efficiency and avoid premature failure of system components.

Is it installed correctly?

The front side must be completely unobstructed to ensure proper ventilation for your ice maker. The ice maker may be closed-in on the top and three sides, but the installation should allow the ice maker to be pulled forward for servicing if necessary.

The auxiliary grill kit provided (only on custom panel models) can be used to align the toe grill with the rest of the cabinets while not obstructing the ventilation of the ice maker.
