Why is Ice Stuck on the Cutting Grid
Ice is Getting Stuck on the Cutting Grid of My Jenn-Air Ice Maker
Ice can get stuck on the cutting grid for a couple of different reasons, if there is ice stuck between the evaporator plate and the cutting grid try the following:
- Ensure the Ice Maker is leveled properly
- Check to make sure the grid harness is completely plugged in
- Run a clean cycle. Mineral build up could be causing the ice to get stuck.
You will need to use one 16-ounce (473 mL) bottle of approved ice maker cleaner. We recommend using the Affresh® Ice Machine Cleaner part number 4396808.
