Leaking from filter or filter area


Possible Solutions

Was the filter correctly installed? 

If the water filter was not installed correctly, it could cause the refrigerator to leak. Please remove the filter and try installing again.

NOTE: If your water filter is located below the crisper drawer, make sure the water filter is locked into place and the arrows are aligned.

Is the water filter damaged? 

Remove the filter and inspect it for cracks or damage. If the filter is cracked or damaged, replace the filter with a new one.

Are the O-Rings correctly installed on the filter? 

Be sure the O-rings are still in place. If the O-rings are damaged or missing replace the filter.

Is your filter marked with Jenn-Air or EveryDropTM

Filters with Jenn-Air or EveryDropTM are Certified Genuine Parts. Please note that the use of of a Certified Genuine filter is recommended for maximum refrigerator performance.
