Humming Noise - Over-the-Range Microwave

Possible Causes

It is normal for the unit to produce a humming noise during operation, the noise could be coming from the cooling fan or from the power supply switching the magnetron on and off.

The cooling fan helps to cool the enclosed oven cavity and the electronic controls when the oven is in use and/or after the cycle completes. It also helps keep the electronic controls cool during every oven function such as BAKE, BROIL or CLEAN.
