How to Clean Jenn-Air Oven Racks

Cleaning your Jenn-Air oven racks can be done in a few simple steps. 

IMPORTANT: Before cleaning, ensure all controls are off, and the oven is cool. Always follow the label instructions on cleaning products.

  1. Remove oven racks from the oven cavity.
  2. Use a combination of soap, water, and a soft cloth or sponge.
  3. Thoroughly dry with a soft cloth.
  4. Replace the oven racks in the oven cavity.

For harder-to-remove stains, use a steel wool pad. 

NOTE: To help racks that are discolored and/or harder to slide, apply a light coating of vegetable oil.

Removing and Installing the Racks

To move a rack, pull it out to the stop position, raise the front edge, and then lift it out. 

  • Position racks before turning on the oven.
  • Do not move racks with bakeware on them.
  • Make sure the racks are level.
